Philippines-U.S. Business Council, American Chamber of Commerce, Sun
Microsystems Philippines, Inc., TOEIC represented by Hopkins International
Partners Inc., DynEd represented by Interactive Language Solutions (ILS),
and the Knowledge Institute.
SC JOHNSON SUPPORT A SCHOLAR PROJECT
SC Johnson & Son, Inc. is a corporate partner of the AmCham Foundation in its Educational Assistance Program for poor but deserving Filipino youth. It has sent 5 to 10 youth for a vocational course at Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI) for about 9 years already.
These nine (9) years of successful partnership with S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., the Support-A-Scholar Project of AmCham Foundation continues to make an impact in changing lives of at least 5 to 10 deserving students every year through the provision of tuition and school miscellaneous fee, school uniform, monthly subsistence allowance as well as OJT allowance and other psycho-social activities. Though it can’t visibly contribute to the large number of out of school youth in the Philippines, these young and aspiring students are on their way to make their dreams a reality.
